TCK problems

The only downside to being a child of mixed ethnicity is that you don’t look like either of your parents–not inherently problematic until you get a little older and everyone suddenly thinks you’re your dad’s questionably-young asian girlfriend. Am I right, mixed kids?

Sigh.

    My dad looks Indonesian and I look Chinese or Korean. It is most definitely awkward.

    Hahahaha I always end up making it a point to make comments about “mom, man, too bad she’s not here.” “mom would LOVE this!” etc. What sorrow.
